We've all heard of the scaringly fast pace tropical rainforests all over the world are being destroyed by mainly Japanese logging companies. And many third world countries are selling their timber in the hope to get more money into the country, be it that what they are selling they will soon be running out of and then the cash flow will upruptly end, after which they'll have to deal with other incovenien-

ces like floodings, erosion, starvation, uninhabitable deserts, etc. The obviously sensible idea to make the Amazon Forest WORLD HERITAGE is unfortunately widely misunderstood in Brazil, where most of the Amazon Forest is located. The rest of it is located in countries like British Guyana, French Guyana, Surinam, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela. Threats include logging, oil drilling, mining, dams, pollution etc, and it's obvious that this needs to stop!
