  But ultimately and eventually   it was the underhanded and   dishonest ways like the   deliberate massive slaughter   of buffalo, the handing out of   smallpox infected blankets,   the reservation policy, the   bounties on scalps, the   destruction of crops,   disrespecting the Frontier by   inventing something like   Manifest Destiny, the   disrespect towards treaties,   the deliberate distribution of   alcohol etc. that finally gave   Europeans the upper hand.

  And you'll understand that there is really no honour in that.
